So I made my 1st XP farm today but it doesnt seem to be working, i went around and lit up all the caves, i made it on top of a little lake. the monsters do spawn but not very often at all. even on hard diff. the canal bottom level is 23 blocks from the bottom, the canal itsself is 2 blocks high. the roof is 3 blocks from the floor? im going to a

Made a XP farm, which worked for some time, but then some of the piston did not work anymore. Tried to break and place them again, but it did not work. Turning it on and off is also not working. It identical to the other side, so it doesn't seem like I build it wrong. Any ideas of to fix it?[1.15.1] Unsolved

Seeing conflicting reports. Looks like the glitch involving a smoker and potatoes that yield monstrous amounts of XP may of may not work on Java 1.17. Reports say it works if the player initially runs enough potatoes through the smoker to fill both the chest and the hopper. Others say this glitch has been patched.
